written by: Ian and Karen
Arthritis is a health epidemic that is on the increase. In 2006 there are more than 46 million people with Arthritis in the United States.
Arthritis can be classified as Osteoarthritis, where the cartilage at the end of the bone starts to break-down to the point where the bones actually rub together; and Rheumatoid arthritis, where the lining of the joints get inflamed. There are many types of arthritis, but these two are the major ones.

Along with what you eat there are other things that you can do.
- Keep your body weight down. The more weight that you place on your joints the worse it is
- Have good posture because this relaxes pressure on your neck back and hips
- Get exercise – particularly swimming because your body is supported in water.
This information is very little, and should only be followed upon the advice of your doctor.
God bless you.
