Each month TJLIT will feature a Christian movie for your viewing pleasure. Grab your family, a bowl of popcorn, and sit back and relax. At the end of the show, we would appreciate it if you could leave your comments at the bottom of this page letting us know what you thought of the movie. Next movie posting will be March 12, 2011.
Current Feature Film: FACING THE GIANTS - As things seem to be crashing down all around him, Coach Taylor is beginning to question his own abilities, and even asking "What's God doing." With everything in his life falling apart, he admits to his wife, "It must be me." They lay their heads down and cry together as they seem to be, at that moment, completely defeated and without hope. However, there is ALWAYS HOPE IN CHRISTALWAYS! Coach Taylor calls on the Lord, reading and quoting Psalm 18:1-3, and you begin to see a vast difference in his countenance and his demeanor. WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
Last Month's Movie: End of the Spear- The dramatic event of the murder of five missionaries in the jungles of Ecuador in 1956 can be told in numerous ways from numerous perspectives. In the brilliantly titled film End of the Spear, several of these various points of view are included, but the one that transcends them all is the personal story of Steve Saint, son to one of the five missionaries killed. It is Steve Saints experience that begins and ends this redemptive drama, but his tale is one that highlights a theme that runs throughout all of the tales: the divine concept of forgiveness. This movie is rated PG13.
